E&P Geoscience, LLC will be represented by Dr. Erik Scott at next week’s AAPG/SEPM conference in Houston. In fact Erik’s time starts on Saturday when he will lead a group of 24 grade school teachers to Panther Creek in the Montgomery County Preserve just south of The Woodlands to investigate a meandering creek system as part of the AAPG Earth Science Educators Program. Erik will return to Panther Creek on Sunday for an HGS sponsored trip for the AAPG/SEPM conference with a group of industry professionals and university folks to really get into the dynamics of the creek – see how the varying energy of the creek moves various grain sizes through time and the resultant 3D architecture of the deposits. Panther Creek is one of Erik’s favorite places in the Houston area and he is always happy to show anyone this unique spot.
Erik will be attending all three days of the conference, so say Hi! if you see him there. He will be going to the SEPM Research Group meetings on Monday night as well as the LSU alumni gathering on Tuesday night. If you would like to speak to Erik regarding how we could help you out with any subsurface issues or to teach one of the training courses feel free to contact him at Erik.Scott@epgeoscience.com or at +1 832 794 1843.
